Our event for Ibadan and environs will be in favour of Deaf Students of Methodist Grammar School Bodija and Ijokodo High School Eleyele and the Deaf Root Association. Training-Cash-Cakes. Venue is Banquet Hall, Premier Hotel, Mokola Hill, Ibadan Oyo State

Are you a cake lover? Come and feed your eyes and taste buds! Are you a cake maker? Register to feature at the next Nigerian Cake Festival & Flour Craft Exhibition for Ibadan and environs coming up from June 18-20, 2015. Registration for the competition or attendance is FREE! Showcase & Exhibition is open to Bakers with at least 6 years experience and past Winners only. Our competition is open to young and creative Bakers whether professional or not.

Themes for the Competition: All contestants will be judged on their ability to interpret the theme, creativity, cleanliness, decorum/conduct and final presentation.

Theme 1: Bake a 8-12 inch Fruit Cake depicting Oyo as the Root of TV in Africa.

Theme 2: Bake a 8-12 inch Vanilla Cake for a fashion conscious Ibadan Lady.

Theme 3: Bake a 8-12 inch Carrot cake for a farmer.

First Prize: Medium Size Oven + 1 Bag of 50kg Flour

Second Prize: Electric Mixer + 1 Bag of 50kg Flour

Third Prize: Hand Mixer + 1 Bag of 50kg Flour

Consolation prizes: 1 Bag of 50kg Flour

***ALL CAKES WILL BE AUCTIONED AT THE VENUE.
50 % of proceeds from the auction on Day 1 will favor Deaf Students of Methodist Grammar School Bodija, Ijokodo High School Eleyele and the Deaf Root Association (Day 3). Please note that exhibitors will be charged a token of N10,000 to Exhibit on Day 1 of the event and Showcase their products on stage for 15 Minutes on Day 2 & 3.
