LESSONS FOR ENTREPRENEURS

#ForEntrepreneursOnly

WHEN THINGS BLOW UP

While some were busy fighting to take selfies with Mark Zuckerberg and argue over his t-shirt and suit and squeeze to tell him all their problems - including how their girlfriends broke their hearts or how their soup last night didn't have enough meat in it, he just lost over $200 million (that's over N60 billion) in a Thursday's failed SpaceX Rocket launch that was meant to bean internet service remote parts of Africa and the world via the internet.org initiative.

Which of course was one of the reasons he came to Africa in the first place.

Well, what baffles me guys is that even Mark himself was away in Kenya or Nigeria when this huge project was being executed in Cape Canaveral’s Launch Complex, Florida and when the failure happened and after the failure, he was busy in Nigeria attending the ASO DEMO Event in Abuja, taking selfies, shaking hands with politicians, and then when he heard the news, he simply sent out the following post:

"I'm deeply disappointed to hear that SpaceX's launch failure destroy our satellite that would have provided connectivity to so many entrepreneurs and everyone else across the continent. We remain committed to our mission of connecting everyone."

I really like the part that says: "We remain committed to our mission...."

You see guys, as entrepreneurs we must learn two things from this, especially when things in our businesses don't work out according to our prognosis - when that product fails to scale, when nobody signs up for that seminar, when nobody turns up for your show, when the app downloads fall far below invested expectations, when that big client pulls the plug, when your pitch to VCs falls flat.

1. Be disappointed, no problem. You are a human being, so you have every right to allow the emotion flow.

2. But please remain committed to your Mission. Don't hang your boot yet. DON'T!

*Will Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk launch another satellite?

YES!

So the question before you as an entrepreneur is this:

How Committed Will You Be To Your Mission When Things Blow Up?

Focus and Stay Committed!

Copied.

8 INSPIRING THINGS MARK ZUCKERBERG SAID

I came across this and thought to share. Read up.

8 Inspiring Things Mark Zuckerberg Said During His Visit to Lagos

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was at the CoCreation Hub in Yaba, Lagos on Tuesday, August 30, 2016.

The 7th richest person in the world was in Lagos to hold a meeting with some key players in the Nigerian tech world to discuss how Facebook can be improved in Nigeria, and how it can support tech development in Africa.

Below are eight inspiring things we learnt during questions and answers session with the billionaire:

1. “Move fast and break things.

Unless you are breaking stuff, you are not moving fast enough.”
No, he is not encouraging those with a penchant for breaking stuff in the anger to carry on doing so as if it is normal behaviour. He is basically saying, challenge the norm; don’t acknowledge limitations or in Naija lingo, never stay in your lane. Forge new tracks for your own lane.

2. “The question I ask myself almost every day is, ‘Am I doing the most important thing I could be doing?’”
Valid question. Are you dear reader, doing the most important thing you could be doing with your life, your abilities, your passions for yourself and society? Wait. Don’t answer just yet- think on these things.

3. “People don’t care about what you say; they care about what you build or do.”
Actions speak louder than words. You cannot keep mouthing off with no evidence to show for it. Take time to build; invest in the foundation of your building, your systems, your relationships. A house built upon the sand will crumble.

4. “The biggest risk is not taking any risk.”
There is nothing else to add to this.

5. “We don’t build services to make money; we make money to build better services.”
Perspective. Perspective. Perspective. Think, why do you do what you do? Why are you in business? To make profit, to solve problems, make a difference, what? Let your motive be right.

6. “I think a simple rule of business is, if you do the things that are easier first, then you can actually make a lot of progress.”
When a dozen projects are dropped in your lap with an impossible timeline, start with what’s easier. If you begin a Start-up, and a million things are calling for your attention at the same time, the trick: do what’s easier first.

7. “We look for people who are passionate about something. In a way, it almost doesn’t matter what you’re passionate about.”
Passion is the fuel that drives the mission. Find your passion and plug it into something.

8. “You are better off trying something and having it not work and learning from that than not doing anything at all.”
Loose the fear of failure. It’s a noose around your neck. Don’t  be afraid to lay your hands on something new. You can never tell what it stands to become in the nearest future. This looks to me like Mark saw into the Cromwell PSI vision.

Let's do this with all our might...it's pleasing to see you all succeed at making a great new way for consulting service value innovation in Nigeria. Let's do this.

We do have a lot to learn from this . #BeInspired!

5 Ways To Add More Time To Your Day

One of the biggest complaint i hear from others about starting and building a home business is lack of time. I often lament about not having enough time as well. But the truth is, there is a lot of time. The problem isn't lack of time, it's the misuse of time. Granted, some of that wasted time goes to television or social media, but just like people nickel and dime their money away, so too do they fritter away minutes that could be better spend moving towards a goal.

Here are 5 ways to add more time in your day starting now!

Care of Fascinators/Hats

Fascinators are women's light, decorative headpieces consisting of feathers, flowers, beads etc attached to a comb, hair clip, band or a base.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HEAD PIECES.
~The item should not be stored in a damp or dusty place.

~Keep it away from direct sunlight as blooms may fade.

~Should be stored on its own in a secure box away from other items to prevent the flower or other decorations on it from.being squashed or misshaped.

~When dusty, applying a damp sponge is not advisable as this can create permanent staining and cause misshaping of the decorations e.g flowers.

~Please do not handle the silk flowers too much as they susceptible of fraying. Although we try our best to prevent this from happening, this is inevitable over time due to the vet nature of the product.

~If you need to clean your fascinator use low lack adhesive tape to remove dust or particles as recommended.

With this care instructions, your item will last a long time as long as proper care and attention is given like after use, the item should be put back in its box.

If the item (fascinator, hats or turbaninator)is stained due to poor handling....apply same care instructions or better still ,contact us on whatsapp+2347010195890.

Regards,
M.A.E

The use of fascinators traced

Fascinators-Dated as far back as the 19th and early 20th centuries, fascinators have been in use. Seems the word was coined from the Latin word "fascinatus" meaning "to bewitch" or "cast a spell on". The English version "to fascinate" means "to attract and hold attentively by a unique power, personal charm, unusual nature", or "some other special quality; entrall", "to arouse the interest or curiosity of allure "or "to transfix or deprive of the power of resistance as through terror".

As ladies , we can't fail on this because we were created to do this. What's the wait? Would-be-bride , maid of hounour, bride's maids, mother and sisters of the bride or groom, guest, going on a date, perhaps a day at the race event?
Whatever the occasion, a fascinator will complete your outfit, entrall, allure and transfix those around you.

Add to your should -do-list. We make bespoke pieces for that royal touch to glam your outfit and wow people right from when you step out.

For inquiries-price,payment and delivery details, open chat with admin WhatsApp +2347010195890. Thanks.
